A very pleasant tearoom, Melanie's.

A cross between a cafe and a sitting room, it's a mix of tables and couches.

The floor staff were very prompt and pleasant to deal with. We arrived in before the lunch rush, but while we were eating I could see them deal with the lunchtime rush very well.

I went for the ham, cheese and pineapple toastie. My husband the ploughmans.

Who knew pineapple worked so well in a toasted sandwich. Well I should have really, as I do love pineapple on a pizza.

My husband thought his ploughmans was fine.

Facilities were very clean and nice. Always a good sign for a business that serves food.

Great coffee shop with homemade goodies to go with your drink. Also does lunch food. Reasonably priced sit down service. Quite a busy little coffee shop but a lovely place to meet up with a friend.
